		<description>wow, I know I&#039;m late, but I definitely agree about the pencil vs. pen argument, but mostly because the vast majority of pens at work are crap. They blot, they skip and they generally bleed through paper so they&#039;re next to worthless.

For what it&#039;s worth, when I do need a pen, I tend to go for a superfine (as in .005 pt), Japanese felt tip jobber. You can get them for about $2 at craft shops like Michael&#039;s. They&#039;re smooth, very reliable and make you cry like a baby when you accidentally drop them uncapped.</description>

		<description>I came to the same realization a few years ago.  Check out the Papermate PhD Multi.  It has a .5 pencil, a black pen, and a red pen; all in one device.  So when you are required to use a pen like when you&#039;re signing something, you&#039;ve got the pen just a twist-click away.  I use the pencil for probably 99.9% of all my writing.
