It also often deletes several chars when you press backspace only once, or randomly inserts whitespace where you don't want it. Time to look for another editor for my homebrew CMS... It reminds me of posting on a BBS at 300 or 1200 where you waited to see how your typing came out. I tried to figure out a way to do the raw html but the way it does it is stinky.
